When You Just Want To Be Happy
Learning how to be happy is an acquired skill. For many of us happiness just does not come naturally anymore. This sounds totally ridiculous to people that are naturally happy. These people can’t comprehend that happiness doesn’t come naturally. The truth is that lots of people have become used to not being happy and this habit creates a vicious cycle of dwelling on the idea of unhappiness in their life. This habit can be changed by changing the way you perceive your life and by taking charge of the patterns you have let your brain fall into. Sounds crazy, I know, but understand that managing the human brain isn’t a foreign concept. Many studies have been done to prove that you can change the way your brain operates. Just like the habit of smoking or other addictions, being chronically unhappy is the same thing. You’ve got to learn how to break this habit and move forward.
If you’ve been in a rut and thinking I hate my life you’ll be ecstatic to know that you can change your life and move forward with some development of the skills you are lacking in. The only way that you can take control of your unhappiness is to learn how to manage your thought processes and change what you’re brain is focusing on. Sounds a little far-fetched, doesn’t it? Think about it this way, we are all familiar with bad habits, right? Well, spending your days thinking I hate my life or how much you hate someone else or how hard your life is are all habits that you’ve let your brain fall into. Although it’s easier to blame everyone else in your world for your problems, the truth is that you are using that as an excuse.
Stuff happens to everyone, everyday. How you learn to handle that “stuff” is what will change your life. If you don’t take action to help yourself and how you feel, you will always feel this way.
