Want An Acne Free Skin?

Want An Acne Free Skin?

Acne or more notoriously known as the dreaded pimple is a type of skin condition which is rather common amongst teenagers. The reason for this is that, during the puberty stage, the hormonal balance within the body is altered, or to put it more simply, the production and release of hormones are at a more swift pace. Apart from that, another factor that can contribute to the appearance of acne is the excessive production of sebum (natural oil) by the oil producing gland called sebaceous gland. Excess oil clogs the skin’s pores, which leads to skin eruptions and inflammations that you know as acne.

If you happen to be searching for effective homemade acne treatments, then you have found yourself the right article! In here you will discover a number of acne treatments that you can easily whip up at home. The ingredients that you will need can easily be found inside your kitchen.

The first homemade remedy that you can try right away will need some cinnamon powder and raw honey. You will simply need to mix the two ingredients together to form a paste, which you can then apply along the affected parts of your skin. For best results, leave the mixture on your face overnight and just wash it off the next morning. This will help unclog the pores of your skin and remove excess oil away from the acne infected area.

Strawberry, both the fruit and its leaves also makes for a great acne home treatment. You can mash a handful of fresh strawberries and then apply along your facial skin like a paste. For the strawberry leaves, you will need to moisten them up with a bit of water and then place them along your face, leaving them there for about ten to fifteen minutes.

Another excellent natural remedy for clearing acne is dandelions. To make use of dandelions, cut both the root and leaves into tiny pieces and then simmer them in a cup or two of water. Boil for about ten minutes. Afterwards, let it stand to cool off a bit and then strain. You can either take it like a tea or apply directly onto your acne using a clean cloth or cotton ball.

The last and probably the most excellent natural treatment for acne is Aloe Vera. Aloe Vera gel is not just great for removing acne, but also for diminishing the scars that acne typically leaves behind. The seemingly odorless gel can also be mixed with other essential oils and such can provide you with even more lasting results.
