Why you can’t lose weight
It can be very frustrating when you work hard at losing weight but you don’t lose a single pound. It can be enough to make you give up altogether and give into your cravings. But that’s not going to help you, what will is identifying the reasons why you can not lose weight and making them right. Here’s how:
You are consuming more calories than you burn
One of the main reasons for weight gain or absence of weight loss is that you are consuming more calories (or the same) as what you burn with exercise. You can overcome this by simply eating slightly less calories – no starvation needed. Cut back on your portion sizes and watch the snacks.
You are burning fewer calories than you consume
The other main reason for not losing any weight is that your calorie burn is less or the same as your calorie consumption. To overcome this, you should exercise more or for longer. If you want to lose weight, you have to exercise for at least 5 days a week, doing 3 days cardio of 20 minutes each and the other 2 days with weight triaging for 40 minutes.
Your exercise is ineffective for weight loss
You may be doing the wrong exercises that have no effect on your weight. Light exercises like cardio and light weight training won’t give you the desired effect.
You forget about the little things you eat and the little bites you take
Keep a food dairy to make sure that you don’t forget about the little things that you eat or the little bites that you take. It will also help you to see where your eating is wrong.
You’ve hit a weight loss plateau
When you have been losing weight and suddenly your weight loss stops, you may have hit a weight loss plateau. All you have to do to overcome it is to shake up your routine – get a new exercise and diet plan.
I hope you know what mistakes you where making that was preventing you from losing any more weight. If you found yourself making some of these mistakes, just correct them by doing as advised and hopefully you can lose weight again.
